Hate Crime

Citizens Advice Basingstoke is a third party Reporting Centre for people affected by hate crime and incidents.

Hate crime can leave victims fearful, isolated and vulnerable. It can severely undermine their sense of safety in school, college and the wider community. It impacts greatly on self-confidence and self-worth and can lead to depression, anxiety and in extreme cases, suicide.

We can help you if you are physically or verbally threatened or attacked by someone because of your race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity or something else. If you would like to report a Hate Crime please contact us via the contact options shown on our home page.
